Your order will be shipped either from our location in Nova Scotia or our retail location in Ontario depending on the products you choose.

“From the Shore to Your Door”

To ensure the freshest lobster possible , Live Lobster is shipped direct from Nova Scotia. All other products are shipped from our retail location in Belleville, ON.

Therefore, lobster cannot be combined with other products on your order; separate orders are required with applicable delivery charges on each as they are shipped from different locations.

We currently only accept Canadian orders through our website. Due to FDA inspections, we do not ship parishable products to the US as we cannot guarantee delivery within 1 day. We do, however, ship a limited selection of non-parishable products to the US. If you are interested in having products shipped to the US, please call us at 1-866-704-2280.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight of your shipment using the following matrix. During checkout you will be presented with a selection of shipping options. Please choose your shipping preference and Zone as detailed in the chart below. Choosing an incorrect shipping option may cause delays in the processing of your order. All seafood and temperature sensitive products must be shipped by Express.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

Please ensure you read and understand the following terms and conditions before placing an order. You will be required to Agree to these terms during the checkout process.

Deliveries are available Tuesday through Friday with the exception of statutory holidays. Saturday delivery is available to limited destinations for an additional $20 charge. Please contact us to verify Saturday delivery is available in your area.

Due to our mass shipping volumes, we benefit from significantly reduced courier rates which we pass along to you. We do not upcharge our rates; nor do we charge a handling or packaging fee. We use FedEx, Purolator, UPS or air cargo carriers at our discretion depending on destination.

Seafood and temperature sensitive products are packaged for transit in insulated packing materials and frozen gel packs.

Please note we are unable to control time of delivery to your residence. You will be provided with a tracking number through an automatically generated message. With this tracking number, you can call your local courier depot for delivery times in your area.

Due to the perishable nature of the product, all shipments are sent with the Driver Release option, a residential delivery service in which, at the discretion of the Driver, a package may be left at a private residence without obtaining a signature. Maritime Lobster Express Inc. does not assume responsibility for packages delivered and left unattended.

Maritime Lobster Express does not accept responsibility for shipments that are delayed due to causes beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the following: an error on the part of the carrier, the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, delays caused by the consignee, acts of God, or disruptions in the air or ground transportation network (such as weather phenomena), and natural disasters.
